The No Name Saloon has a rich and vibrant history. The Spanish Colonial revival building was erected in 1905 by the M.S. Aschiem Mercantile Company. Shortly after that, it was occupied by the Utah Independent Telephone Company. Over the years the building has been home to many things, including Utah Power & Light, a liquor store, a bowling alley, a pool hall and eventually the Alamo Bar.
Originally from Chicago, Jesse Shetler moved to Park City in the mid-80's and fell in love with the town. Jesse worked at a number of establishments as a bartender on and off Main Street before signing the lease on the building in 1999. After an extensive remodel, which included the addition of a kitchen, Jesse officially opened in January 2000. Soon after, Jesse lost a lawsuit over the Alamo name. "I couldn't think of a name that the community would positively embrace so I registered it as No Name Saloon."
Over the years, the No Name Saloon has changed a lot with both the city and the bar. In 2007, Jesse and partners expanded No Name Saloon to include the back area kitchen, the upstairs Mezzanine, and the heated Rooftop patio. Then in 2020, they expanded again, taking over the building next door to add the family-friendly side of No Name, Annex Burger, and an additional bar room upstairs, The Loft.
No Name Saloon & Grill reflects the spirit of Park City. and continues to be a favorite gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, known for its unique atmosphere and eclectic decor. Over the years, the saloon has hosted countless memorable events, many crazy nights, and is a staple of the Park City community.
Today, we continue to serve up our World Famous Buffalo Burgers and other delicious food and drink in a lively environment offering a glimpse into Park City's past while embracing the energy of the present.
